March 2010 - Martin & Kylie were the type of people you'd only see in movies. Two hopeless romantics...totally besotted with each other in every way! They loved the camera and the camera ABSOLUTELY loved them! They were completely comfortable with me 10 minutes into the shoot and my creative juices just couldn't stop flowing! I'm sure they laughed at me a couple of times as I got so carried away behind the lens and kept repeating myself "I LOVE MY JOB!" Hahaha! Thanks Kylie & Martin, you guys were awesome to work with and all the best for your blessed marriage. You guys have a winning recipe!

Marx Wedding @ Nora Falls Lodge, Nelspruit

December 2009 - Annemarie & Petre were one of the first couples to book me and quite ironically my last wedding for 2009! :-)

She looked absolutely gorgeous and he was sooooo smitten! Petre couldn’t keep his hands to himself from the minute he laid eyes on his bride…which made my job a hell of a lot easier! Hehehe…

They were so jolly and laid back that I actually felt like joining the big party afterwards! We left Nora falls around 22:30 but the reception apparently went on until early morning hours.

Robertson Wedding @ Umbhaba Lodge, Hazyview

November 2009 - My brother and his best friend finally tied the knot. He looked very handsome and his bride absolutely breathtaking! Congrats guys! Enjoy the honeymoon! ;-)

Otto Wedding @ Bee Eaters Farm, Nelspruit

October 2009 - Renate decided on Lavender & various wild flowers for her wedding. This was really an "out of the ordinary" one and turned out so beautiful. Stephan and Renate were loads of fun to work with, I laughed more than anything else with all their sillyness that day.

The first couple to thank me in their speech, I was so chuffed!

Ferreira Wedding @ Umbhaba Lodge, Hazyview

October 2009 -This wedding was really something different. Shaun & Ray came all the way from Johannesburg to come and have an intimate wedding at Umbhaba Lodge, Hazyview.

The minute I met Shaun & Ray, I knew...THESE two were gonna look GORGEOUS!

And they did just that!

They were so in love that it was the easiest thing in the world to capture.

You could see the love & chemistry a mile away...

I'd never seen a couple more relaxed and eager to run down the aisle, it truly was an awesome experience!

By the time I had done my job I was rather sad to leave...felt like I was leaving friends behind not clients. :-)

Thanks again Ray, Shaun, Bron & Gert. You guys were magical!

Retief Wedding in Malelane

The wedding started at 15:30 on a Saturday afternoon in a VERY hot & humid Malelane.

Whilst everybody was just about melting away...the bride STILL looked flawless!

We did the bridal shoot at the Riverhouse and I had a good giggle...Sorika was saying that she thought she was going to have to smile a hell of a lot, whilst all we wanted them to do was kiss! *teehee*

Bornman Wedding in Barberton

July 2009 - This was truly an experience, when I met Monique & Barend from Pretoria for the first time, I thought... "What a lovely couple, so sweet and shy..." Little did I know that they would both get comfortable in front of the camera VERY quickly! They were so much fun and game for anything I suggested! Even when I took a tumble on the train tracks and bruised my leg quite badly, they were still on top form and ready for action! And of course their little man was just sooooo adorable!!!! I tried to take him home with me, but they just wouldn't let me! *teehee* Thanks guys, friends we will stay forever!

Stins Wedding @ K'shani Game Reserve

June 2009 - The Stins wedding was fantastic! Even though we ran out of light VERY quickly!

I felt more like a guest than the photographer! LOL

It was awesome to see two people so in love and ready to tie-the-knot. And their daughter was a real little model! At one stage I was battling to get photos of the bride as the little girl kept dragging me to one side for the modelling shoot! Soooo cute!
